Flies

Flies, horses and cattle go together like stink on …

You first must come to grips with the fact where there is livestock there will be flies.
But that does not mean you cannot greatly reduce the number of nuisance and biting flies on your farm.  Fly issues require a different approach and utilizing our IPM system ensures we can tailor a plan custom to your farm’s conditions and operation.

Getting control of flies is a year around process.
Getting started early in the season is important and understanding that it is a multiple step process that AFS works closely with our customers to ensure the environment for flies is not conducive for them to grow and thrive on your farm. The most common flies we see here in Central Florida re the filth flies such as the non-biting house fly and the biting stable and horn flies.  In addition, there are other blood feeding flies such as the horse and deer fly, biting midges, black flies and of course the mosquito.

Our service for fly control is based on an annual program
and sold as such.
